From 1961 to 1989, Berlin was divided by a guarded concrete barrier that physically and ideologically separated the city. Mike Posey with the German Consulate brings in pieces from their Berlin Wall exhibit and shares the history of the Berlin Wall and what led up to the fall. This incredible exhibit has been displayed at the German Consulate for years and Mike will be bringing his favorite pieces to share with us on site at FSS.
