Fayette County Sherriff Lt. Dan Thamert discusses local four-legged heroes, police dogs. Lt. Thamert will join us to share interesting information about how K9s get into the law enforcement business and what they are most used for. Learn about the training process that police dogs go though, what they specialize in, what they do outside working hours and so much more. Both of the sheriff office’s trained dogs, Copper and their newest puppy addition Buckeye, will be joining him for the program and doing a brief demo on their specialties!
