Many different types of plants can be grown from seed. Since seeds are relatively inexpensive, starting plants from them is a great way to increase diversity in your landscape for a fraction of the cost. Kim Toal with the Extension Office teaches ways to start plants from seed in this hands on workshop using seed, soil and containers you’ll get to take home. This will be outside in garden weather permitting.
