Throughout the Holocaust, there were thousands of non-Jewish people who made a choice not to be passive in the face of evil. Those who did aid Jews were motivated by opposition of Nazi racism, compassion, or religious and moral principles, risking their own lives and those of their families. Each act of rescue is unique and the Georgia Commission on the Holocasut joins us to share the stories of several rescuers: Adolf and Maria Althoff and their circus, the Zabinksi family and their zoo, and Leopold Socha and his story of the sewer. The presenter will join us via zoom. Bring in your laptop and questions for your computer for 1-on-1 assistance. Lance Collins with PTC Techs will assist with computer technology troubleshooting, removal of unwanted programs, antivirus prevention, general questions, and more. This is not a computer tutoring class.
