Speech therapy is often thought of as something you do after a traumatic event, but that is not the case. Patrelle Major with Southland Health and Rehab talks about how speech therapy cannot only be a great asset for post-traumatic events but all is well versed in helping with cognitive stimulation and alertness control. She will also do a demonstration and exercise with everyone on home speech exercises you can do on your own for preventative measures.
