Lori Bean, Certified Pastry Culinarian

A graduate of the Florida Culinary Institute, Lori is an award winning pastry chef bringing her culinary skills to our Center preparing freshly baked breads and desserts for our members to enjoy with their breakfasts and lunches.

Lori has served as the lead pastry chef for many of our special events including A Meal to Remember, An Evening on The Orient Express, and Oktoberfest, as well as our special events including the annual Valentine's Day Dinner and Dance and St. Patrick's Day Dinner.

Our Center members have enjoyed the opportunity to take home her fresh products with our Center "bake sales." Now, with the opening of the Center Sweets Bakery, our members have another great benefit...purchasing fresh baked breads and desserts, packaged in smaller portions, to enjoy at home. The Center Sweets Bakery will be open every Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. beginning August 20.

Center Sweets Bakery will also take orders for special occassion cakes and catering events. Visit the website to see some of what the bakery has to offer.
