Meals on Wheels is a needs-based program for homebound seniors who are unable to purchase or prepare a nutritious meal for themself. Each year, nearly 200 community volunteers deliver more than 40,000 nutritionally balanced meals to Fayette County seniors. More importantly, it provides a connection with the outside community and a daily “check-in” to ensure client safety and well-being, and essential needs are being met.

VOLUNTEER
Delivery volunteers are the heart and soul of our Meals On Wheels program providing our clients with food and friendship. Each year they deliver nutritious meals to more than 250 homebound seniors throughout Fayette County. Learn more about volunteering for Meals On Wheels.
