Meeting at FSS the first Friday of every month, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Free and open to adult storytellers and guests of all experience and confidence levels. Adult Writers Group Meeting
Meets the fourth Friday of every month, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public. The purpose of this group is to welcome writers and even those who are just thinking about writing to mingle with other writers, share their work and support each other with feedback and critiquing. Senior Advocacy Council
Under the auspices of Fayette Senior Services, Inc. the Fayette Senior Advocacy Council exists to further advocacy for the common good and general welfare of Fayette County adults age 50 and better and serve as a positive voice for the senior community. The council aligns itself with the mission of Fayette Senior Services, Inc. to promote the emotional, social, and physical well-being of older adults through a variety of life-enhancing programs and services to improve the quality of life and maintain independence.
