In addition to our vibrant Life Enrichment Center, we offer social services to Fayette County residents in order to help less-active or homebound older adults to improve their quality of life and live independently in their own home for as long as possible. We offer subsidized or low-cost programs for eligible seniors that include: Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Care Referral Service, Information & Assistance, Transportation, In-Home Personal Care/Homemaker Services, Home Repair, and Case Management.
Our professionally trained Care Managers perform assessments along with ongoing monitoring to assist individuals and their families in planning and care.

In-Home Personal Care/Homemaker Services:
This program enables recipients to remain self-sufficient by providing trained personnel who perform simple homemaker and/or personal care tasks. Our services are delivered with the utmost personal respect and care. Trained professionals connect with seniors to provide simple homemaker and personal care tasks that enable them to become or remain independent and can also help bring respite to caregivers. We contract with a trusted provider of Adult Day Care services to ensure a caring environment focused on each individual’s physical and emotional well being.
Our STAR program (Seniors Together After Retirement) offers Fayette County residents age 60 and older an opportunity to come together for socialization, recreational activities, health and wellness classes, and a nutritious meal in our Ultimate Cafe. Transportation to and from the Center may also be available to eligible participants.
Home Repair and Maintenance:
We’re proud to have a home repair/maintenance program for older adults who are either physically and/or financially unable to perform minor, routine home maintenance tasks and repairs. The resourceful Tool Team is ready to help older adults age 60+.
The Tool Team proudly helps with safety repairs including installation of grab bars in bathtubs, replace batteries in smoke detector’s, repair of minor household items (changing of light bulbs, weather stripping etc.)
As we get older, it can be more difficult to reach the ceiling to replace a burned-out light bulb. Perhaps you’d feel safer if you had a grab bar installed in your shower. These are things the Tool Team can help with!
Why leave minor home repair or maintenance to someone you don’t know? Let the Tool Team become a trusted resource for you! The performance of such minor home maintenance projects and repairs promotes your overall safety and well-being by reducing the risk of injury or improving accessibility. Simple upgrades can improve your home’s energy efficiency and structural integrity.
